Burdens and the Sea

Sitting on this waters edge
Waves drifting in and out
I'm drifting in and out
The sea pushes it's heavy burdens against the unmoved rocks
I push my burdens out to the sea
The waves return gentle
The rocks are sturdy
I am calm

Sometimes when the sun rises

Sometimes when the sun rises
And the moon lingers in the morning sky longer than it should
This reminds us that darkness will surely come at the end of each beautiful

Just as the pedels fall from the dying rose sitting in the vase to celebrate love

Just as one day we take our last breath and we gaze up at the moon in the moon fading from the morning Sky. We should not feel sad but enjoy the new day.
