Even though it rains

The rain drops fall fast and slow
The grass gets wet
The trees and flowers get wet
The dirt turns to mud
The streets get slick
The people dash about trying not to get wet
The T-Shirts get wet
The Jeans get wet
The Shoes get wet
The animals take cover
The weatherman gets to work
The umbrellas go up
The rain coats get worn
The rain boots are still to hot
The lighting flashes
The thunder roars
The wind blows
The sun is covered by clouds
The moon is covered by clouds
The stars are covered by clouds
The puddles are born
The splashes are random, sometimes
The gutters overflow
The bird baths get filled
The dog dish left out gets filled
The buckets left out gets filled
The sticks, twigs and leaves float along the curbs
The romance is in the air
The picnic gets rained out
The ball game gets rained out
Even though it rains, things get wet
