What did the night time bring you

Another tap on your door
You pretended to sleep
That doesn’t work anymore

Laying beside you
You held your breath
Once inside you
There is nothing left

You must like it
You didn't even scream
After this many times
You close your eyes to dream

This is your night mare
What can you do
The pain never stops
It's all inside you

In your body
Your mind
It's there all the time
It's enough pain
To last 2 life times

You've lived and died
So many times
What does it matter
Your dead inside

Full of fear and guilt
You live with shame
No one notice
So you must be the blame

Time did pass
Eventually this did too
When you lay down to sleep
You close your eyes
You still know
What did the night time bring you
